In a world that feels increasingly disconnected, can we still come together in unity through the power of voice, compassion, and song? Is there still a space where music can open hearts, heal divisions, and remind us that we all belong to the same human family? That’s exactly what you’ll find with Jocelyn B. Smith.
Born in New York in 1960, Jocelyn is a classically trained vocalist whose career spans decades of extraordinary achievements. With over 3,000 concerts and more than 20 albums on her own label, Blondell Music, she has performed alongside legends such as Till Brönner, Thomas Quasthoff, Heiner Goebbels, and Mikis Theodorakis. Her voice has graced the world’s most meaningful stages — from performing “Amazing Grace” for 200,000 people at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate after 9/11, to offering solace through song for the victims of the Berlin Christmas Attack.
Beyond the stage, Jocelyn uses music as a force for good. Through her Songs of Substance workshops in Berlin and her work with young people in Colombia, she inspires others to find their voice and purpose. Honored with the Federal Cross of Merit, the Order of Merit of Berlin, and the Beethoven Prize for Human Rights, she continues to shine as a beacon of unity and transformation.
Now, she calls upon the Conscious Artists – the Vocal Warriors – to rise. To sing for empathy, for peace, for the shared spirit that connects us all.
